Chefs Mary Sue & Susan
Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger are two of America's most beloved chefs. The duo have been business partners for 20 years, beginning with the opening of CITY in 1981, and are now the owners/operators of the critically-acclaimed Border Grill restaurants in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Las Vegas, and Green Valley, Nevada, as well as Ciudad in downtown Los Angeles.
The cooking partners are also prolific in many media. Veterans of 396 episodes of their popular "Too Hot Tamales" and "Tamales World Tour" series with Food Network, the duo has now signed for a new series with PBS. Their recent cookbook, "Mexican Cooking for Dummies," is the duo's fifth book and their fourth dedicated to the Latin kitchen. On the radio, their "Hot Dish" episodes are heard daily in Southern California. They also recently launched a line of pepper mills, and their foods "starred" in the Samuel Goldwyn feature film, "Tortilla Soup."
